Basic Itinerary: Day 1: Upon arrival at Cairo international airport you will be met by our Airport representative (holding Sunny Egypt sign with your Name), who will assist you with the passport control formalities, luggage identification and customs procedures. Then you will be transferred to your hotel to spend the night.
Our Cairo head Rep will welcome you, help you check-in to the Hotel and let you know the plan for the next few days.
Day 2:
Morning- Breakfast at the hotel then our friendly expert Egyptologist guide will accompany you to the area - inspiring Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza was built 4600 years ago. Khufu, the successor of Sneferu, was known as a tyrant and in his arrogance he decided to have a tomb built that was bigger and better than all others. The three Pyramids : Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafra) & Mycrenios (Menkaura). The Great pyramid was built by King Cheops (IV Dynasty). King Chefren, the son of Cheops, built the second Pyramid and the third pyramid was built in the reign of “Menkaura”, the son of Chefren. The mysterious Sphinx, with its mask of Chephren and body of a Lion, stands Close by guard of the land of Pharaohs. The Sphinx and the three pyramids were considered one to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Then on to Sakkara lies 25 Km south of Cairo. Djeser’s (Zosser’s) step Pyramid, (built 4700 years ago), dominates the skyline and is believed to be the ancient Egyptians first attempt at pyramid building, to see the first pyramids ever built the step pyramid of Zosser . This night you'll take the overnight train to Aswan .
Day 3: Upon arrival at the Aswan train station, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel. After freshening up you can take an afternoon tour to the Philae temple. As the centre of the cult of Isis, the island of Philae was an important place of pilgrimage for worshippers until long into the Christian era. From Philae, Isis was said to watch over the sacred island of Biga, one of the mythical burial sites of her husband Osiris. After the building of the Aswan Dam, the island’s temples were partly submerged in water and visitors took to rowing boats to peer at the remains. Then Aswan High Dam, one of the biggest dams in the World (measuring 360 feet high and over a mile and a half wide), was erected to store the flood waters of the Nile in Lake Nasser. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 4: (Optional Abu Simbel Tour) After breakfast, you will sail by Felucca to visit Elephantine island: the island is characterized by it's Grey boulders which some say resemble elephants drinking form the Nile. And Kitchner island or Botanical Island to see the beautiful and peaceful botanical gardens with a nice collection of plants from all over the world. In the afternoon, you board our Felucca for a two nights voyage on the River Nile. Overnight on board the Felucca, after visiting Kom Ombo.
Day 5: Swim or Relaxation. Overnight at the Felucca, after a visit
to temple of Horus
the largest temple at Edfu.
Day 6: Transfer to your hotel in Luxor. Later on you will visit the East bank bank (Karnak temple: the main center of worship in ancient Egypt and Luxor temple: has huge papyrus columns and was dedicated to the god Amun. One of its striking aspects is the remains of an ancient Christian Church and Abu Haggag Mosque. Here three religions represented in one place). Overnight at Luxor hotel.
Day 7: Visiting the West bank the Valley of the Kings, Valley of Queens, Temple of Hatshepsut. Overnight bus to Dahab.
Day 8:
Arrive Dahab. Relax and free at your leisure.
Day 9: Explore
the most beautiful area in south Sinai, Ras Abu Gallum. Driving to
the Blue Hole for ride the Camel to reach Ras Abu Gallum, drink tea
in the Bedouin village, snorkeling, take lunch and later moving back
to Dahab.
Day 10: Day free at your leisure, at midnight drive to Moses mountain,
climb it up, reach the top, experience the fantastic sunrise at
the summit, revered in biblical terms as it is said that God delivered
the Ten Commandments to Moses from this point.
Day 11: Rise early to watch the sunrise from the top of Moses Mountain after
this your will descent towards St. Catherine monastery where
you will be able to visit the smallest yet oldest Christian Monastery
in the world. You will be transferred back to Dahab around noon , and the rest of your day and night is free to
enjoy the sun and sea. Overnight in your Hotel.
Day 12: Visiting White Canyon, walking though the Canyon for one
hour to reach Oasis Ain Hudra drinking the Bedouin tea and taking
lunch after a nice tour inside the Oasis. Driving north to the Colored Canyon , enjoying
the art of nature all around in different Colors to reach nuroila
then to the Dolphin Bay in Mezeina village if you are lucky the famous
Dolphin of Nuweiba will welcome you.
Day 13: The Blue Hole, the best place ever for snorkeling. Later
taking the overnight Bus to Cairo .
Day 14: Arrive Cairo and after check in to your hotel our friendly expert Egyptologist guide will accompany you to visit the famous Egyptian museum where you will see many precious antiquities. Then on to Islamic areas of Cairo, including the Citadel of Saladdin which boasts the famous Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. After that you will visit the Coptic area of Cairo where the Romans constructed the fortress of Babylon. Built on the ruins of two towers of the fortress towers is the church of St. Mary, more commonly known as the Hanging Church. Next you will visit St. Sergius where it is said to be the resting place for the holy family.
Day 15: Morning travel by bus to Bahariya Oasis. Free afternoon
to explore the Oasis. Overnight in the Oasis.
Day 16: After breakfast you'll visit the not and Cold springs, Black
mountain and Gebel al Ingleez,Pyramid mountain, Oasis museum. Overnight
at Bahariya.
Day 17: Early start for our desert Safari to the White Desert, visiting
the Dunes, Sues tomb, Black mountains, a Bedouin village, overnight
at desert camp in the White desert.
Day 18: After breakfast return to by bus, and overnight at Cairo
.
Day 19: After breakfast our end, transfer to airport and farewell
to the land of the pharos.
